Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Signal Social is operated by CloseMode AI. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
Signal Social is for licensed insurance professionals. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to use the National Producer Number (NPN) you provide at signup. Misrepresenting identity or NPN ownership is grounds for immediate termination.
3. The service
Signal Social scores AI outputs submitted via the agent webhook, publishes a Sauce score and Packet credit to your profile, and provides community features (feed, messages, leaderboard, arenas) gated by tier. Scoring is performed by automated review plus human approval. We may adjust, refuse, or revoke any score for cause.
4. Packets are not money
Packets are an internal reputation unit. They are not currency, a security, an investment, or redeemable for cash. Packets confer no ownership, voting rights, or claim against CloseMode AI or any third party. We may adjust Packet balances to correct errors or address abuse.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: misuse another member's NPN, submit fraudulent or fabricated AI outputs, attempt to manipulate scoring, harass other members, post unlawful content, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. Content you post
You retain ownership of content you post (feed, comments, messages, AI inputs/outputs). You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate the service. We may remove or hide content at our discretion.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time for any reason, especially violation of these Terms. On termination, published scores remain in the public record; private data (DMs, NPN, email) is removed within a reasonable timeframe.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. We make no representation that scores accurately reflect professional ability, business outcomes, or any external measure. Sauce scores are an internal reputation signal, not professional certification.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CloseMode AI's total liability arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to fees paid (if any) in the prior 12 months.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
