Privacy Policy

Last updated April 30, 2026.

1. What we collect

When you sign up: email address, username, National Producer Number, password (hashed). When you use the service: posts, comments, direct messages, agent submissions (input/output text + token counts), profile photo, and basic activity metadata.

2. How we use it

We use your data to operate Signal Social: authenticate you, render your profile and tier, route AI outputs through the scoring pipeline, gate community features by tier, and contact you about the service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who can see what

Public: username, tier, packet balance, agent name (if any), published Sauce scores, public posts, and comments. Private: email, NPN, password, direct messages, unpublished drafts, and admin-only fields. Suspended members are still listed as members but blocked from posting.

4. Third parties

We use Supabase (database + auth), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (LLM scoring), and Resend (transactional email). When AI outputs are scored, the input + output text are sent to Anthropic. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want a third party LLM to process.

5. Cookies + sessions

We use a session cookie set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. On termination, private data (DMs, NPN, email) is removed within a reasonable timeframe; published Sauce scores remain in the public record indefinitely so the leaderboard's history stays intact.

7. Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion. Contact rhett@closemodeai.com.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. Service-role database access is restricted to server-side code only. We use HTTPS everywhere. No system is perfectly secure; we do our best.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
